The School Assembly Show

This is an interactive show for kids up to high school. It consists of 5 musicians playing steel drum, percussion (congas, bongos, timbales and more), trumpet (as well as flugel horn and conch), drum set, and bass. We discuss the origins of the steel drum, trumpet, congas, and more as well as show how recycling and repurposing are tied to some of the instruments on stage, one of which is a “Blue Man/Stomp” style instrument. Take the basic musical terms, history, and geography and mix it together with a sizzling, interactive performance and you have Tropixplosion! Songs that will be performed range from “Hot Hot Hot” to “Under the Sea” to a Blue Man/Stomp piece and more!

The Tour Through the “Tropix” Show

This is an interactive show for all ages. Perfect for high schools, colleges, libraries and more! It consists of 5 or 6 musicians playing steel drum, percussion (congas, bongos, timbales, and more), trumpet (as well as flugel horn and conch), drum set, bass, and more. We provide the history of the steel drum, trumpet, congas, and more as well as a brief discussion of the repurposed/recycled instruments on stage. In addition, an array of styles of music are demonstrated – styles that will be performed range from calypso to reggae to rock and more!

The Sky’s the Limit Show

We can be hired as any size band from a 4pc up to a 10pc to perform at your event. We can incorporate our standard live band show, back up your school choir, or can be booked for residencies and more. Send us an email to find out the details and customize a show.

Send us an email and we’ll discuss the time frame for your event, our availability, and all the other specifics.
*School discount for weekday/daytime shows
(Also a 50% discount for 2nd show on the same day in the same location)

When the details are worked out we simply email a PDF contract to you to complete, sign, and return. At that point, the date is booked and we are ready to send you into the “Tropix” with one of our shows!
